Tilawat focuses on fluent, measured recitation of the Qur’an, bringing correct Tajweed into steady, beautiful reading. Learners recite in every class and receive close, personal correction from their teacher. Through consistent practice, they work on applying Tajweed rules while reading fluently, understanding where to stop and resume, managing their breath and developing a clear, steady and confident voice. The course supports children, teens and adults in developing a more confident relationship with Qur’anic recitation at a pace appropriate to their current level. The learner’s level is checked during the free trial class so the teacher can recommend a suitable starting point.
Traditional knowledge. Thoughtful teaching. Modern ways to learn.
At Al Farhan, we bring authentic Qur’anic learning together with thoughtful teaching methods and the possibilities of modern educational technology. Our courses combine live, teacher-guided lessons with carefully designed activity books, structured practice and interactive digital learning resources. Where appropriate, learners can also use purpose-built web applications and educational activities to reinforce concepts, practise skills and revisit what they have learned. In Tilawat, the heart of learning remains the learner’s own recitation, supported by attentive listening, personal teacher feedback and regular guided practice. Activity books and digital resources support this process by helping learners reinforce what they practise in class, revisit key concepts and develop consistency in their recitation. We use technology as a tool to make learning more engaging, accessible and interactive—not as a replacement for the teacher, personal guidance or the importance of reciting and listening carefully. Our aim is to preserve the depth and authenticity of Islamic learning while making the learning experience engaging and relevant for children, teens and adults today.
